This ensures that the motor is stopped as soon as it reaches the desired ending/stopping point, reducing the risk of missed steps and improving overall accuracy and quality.
The hall effect end stop limit switch is designed to facilitate contactless homing on the X and Y axis of the Voron 2.2/2.4 series. Upon proximity to a magnet, the Hall Sensor produces a voltage which is then compared to the reference voltage. Firmware modification is required to utilize this feature.
