Description
These hot end silicone socks will keep your heat block clean and free from burnt plastic. Another benefit of installing one of these is the increase in temperature stability. It also helps prevent heating errors due to your fan blowing on your heat block. These are suitable for most V6 hot ends using the newer style block with a cartridge thermistor including those on the Prusa MK3, MK3S, MK2.5, MK2.5S, MK2 and MK2S 3D printers.
Installation is very easy, just push the silicone sock onto the heat block from underneath, ensuring that the sock is firmly in place. These socks are consumables. If the sock starts to degrade you may want to replace it with another one.
